Nestled in the heart of Orangevale, California, Lucky Penny Ranch is a small, family-run farm where kids can connect with nature, animals, and the simple joys of ranch life. From gathering eggs in the chicken coop to brushing our gentle horses, playing with the goats and a pony ride- every visit offers something new to discover.
Our mission is to instill the love of farm life and share it with our younger community!
Classes
Tiny Farmers 101
Farm Experience for Kids (Ages 3–10)
$40 / 90 minutes | Individual or group sessions available.
Tuesdays & Thursdays
Let your child step into the joy of farm life with this hands-on, interactive experience designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and compassion.
Kids will learn the rhythm of the farm while exploring nature, caring for animals, and making lasting memories!
Activities include:
- Collecting fresh eggs and learning how to mix animal feed
- Helping with daily animal care routines like brushing, feeding, and filling water
- Learning basic horse care—grooming, leading, and giving treats (includes a pony ride!)
- Story time under the oak tree and creative play in the treehouse
- A themed craft to take home as a special keepsake
- Fun farm games and teamwork challenges to encourage connection and cooperation
Each session combines hands-on learning with creativity and outdoor fun—encouraging children to unplug, get active, and discover the beauty of life on the farm.
